Advice For The Week

What To Do If you were rejected by someone you like a lot(For Teens)??

Firstly, I'm not an expert at this, so if my advice didn't work, don't blame me ok!

1. Listen to some very soothing music, stay away from music that symbolises
heartbreaks, it will make the situation worst.....

2. Never self-destruct, in a sense do not hurt yourself, or even do something that
hurts you mentally or physically, in doesn't benefit you or does it make the
person who rejected you more caring for you.WAKE UP!! it doesn't help a thing!

3. Call a few friends, share your feelings, don't keep them bottled inside, it hurts
the soul, and it ruins the day or even the whole week.....

4. Play a game like "Unreal Tournament"(just an example) ,that involves blowing
the brains out of the opponents, just make sure you keep the gore inside the
game and not outside...hehe...

5. Go to somewhere quiet or your room will do,and shout out all your
frustrations, make it as loud as possible so that all the anger and sadness
can be released....

6. Look at the bright side, at least you have 1 less problem to worry about amidst
all your teenage activities, no nagging, excess money spending, time wasting
waiting for her to finish looking at clothes, in a sense, its not that bad.....

7. Talk to your parents about it, SERIOUSLY!! Because they know best, or you can
talk to an adult that you trust a lot, they can pack alot of advice, serious, they
can even give you some tips on love revival...hehe.....

8. Just concentrate on your studies, forget about it, but make sure you really
forget about it, don't keep it bottled inside.

This is a good story and is true, please read it all the way through until
the end! (After the story, there are some very interesting facts!):

I am a mother of three (ages 14, 12, 3) and have recently completed my
college degree.

The last class I had to take was Sociology.

The teacher was absolutely inspiring with the qualities that I wish every
human being had been graced with.

Her last project of the term was called "Smile."

The class was asked to go out and smile at three people and document their
reactions.

I am a very friendly person and always smile at everyone and say hello
anyway, so, I thought this would be a piece of cake, literally.

Soon after we were assigned the project, my husband, youngest son, and I
went out to McDonald's one crisp March morning.

It was just our way of sharing special pla ytime with our son.

We were standing in line, waiting to be served, when all of a sudden
everyone around us began to back away, and then even my husband did.

I did not move an inch... an overwhelming feeling of panic welled up inside
of me as I turned to see why they had moved.

As I turned around I smelled a horrible "dirty body" smell, and there
standing behind me were two poor homeless men.

As I looked down at the short gentleman, close to me, he was "smiling".

His beautiful sky blue eyes were full of God's Light as he searched for
acceptance.

He said, "Good day" as he counted the few coins he had been clutching.

The second man fumbled with his hands as he stood behind his friend. I
realized the second man was mentally challenged and the blue-eyed gentleman
was his salvation.

I held my tears as I stood there with them.

The young lady at the counter asked him what they wanted.

He said, "Coffee is all Miss" because that was all they could afford. (If
they wanted to sit in the restaurant and warm up, they had to buy something.
He just wanted to be warm).

Then I really felt it - the compulsion was so great I almost reached out and
embraced the little man with the blue eyes.

That is when I noticed all eyes in the restaurant were set on me, judging my
every action.

I smiled and asked the young lady behind the counter to give me two more
breakfast meals on a separate tray.

I then walked around the corner to the table that the men had chosen as a
resting spot. I put the tray on the table and laid my hand on the blue-eyed
gentleman's cold hand.

He looked up at me, with tears in his eyes, and said, "Thank you."

I leaned over, began to pat his hand and said, "I did not do this for you.
God is here working through me to give you hope."

I started to cry as I walked away to join my husband and son. When I sat
down my husband smiled at me and said, "That is why God gave you to me,
Honey, to give me hope."

We held hands for a moment and at that time, we knew that only because of
the Grace that we had been given were we able to give.

We are not church goers, but we are believers.

That day showed me the pure Light of God's sweet love.

I returned to college, on the last evening of class, with this story in
hand.

I turned in "my project" and the instructor read it.

Then she looked up at me and said, "Can I share this?"

I slowly nodded as she got the attention of the class.

She began to read and that is when I knew that we as human beings and being
part of God share this need to heal people a nd to be healed.

In my own way I had touched the people at McDonald's, my husband, son,
instructor, and every soul that shared the classroom on the last night I
spent as a college student.

I graduated with one of the biggest lessons I would ever learn:
UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE.

Much love and compassion is sent to each and every person who may read this
and learn how to
LOVE PEOPLE AND USE THINGS - NOT LOVE THINGS AND USE PEOPLE.

On a recent weekend in Atlantic City, a woman won a bucketful of quarters at a slot machine. She took a break from the slots fordinner with her husband in the hotel dining room. But first shewanted to stash the quarters in her room. "I'll be right backand we'll go to eat," she told her husband and she carried thecoin-laden bucket to the elevator. As she was about to walk into the elevator she noticed two menalready aboard. Both were black. One of them was big...verybig...an intimidating figure. The woman froze. Her first thoughtwas: These two are going to rob me. Her next thought was: Don'tbe a bigot, they look like perfectly nice gentlemen. But racialstereotypes are powerful, and fear immobilized her. She stood and stared at the two men. She felt anxious,flustered, ashamed. She hoped they didn't read her mind, butknew they surely did; her hesitation about joining them on theelevator was all too obvious. Her face was flushed. Dinner With Girlfriends Parents

A girl asks her boyfriend to come over Friday night and have
dinner with her parents. Since this is such a big event, the
girl announces to her boyfriend that after dinner, she would
like to go out and make love for the first time.

Well, the boy is ecstatic, but he has never had sex before, so
he takes a trip to the pharmacist to get some condoms. The
pharmacist helps the boy for about an hour. He tells the boy
everything there is to know about condoms and sex.

At the register, the pharmacist asks the boy how many condoms
he'd like to buy, a 3-pack, 10-pack, or family pack. The boy
insists on the family pack because he thinks he will be rather
busy, it being his first time and all.

That night, the boy shows up at the girl's parents house and

Scientists Created Zombie Dogs

US scientists at the Pittsburgh's Safar Centre for Resuscitation Research have succeeded in reviving dogs after they were clinically dead for three hours. The scientists created the eerie zombie dogs in the hopes of developing a process for suspended animation for human beings.
During the procedure the dogs are put to sleep. The blood from their veins is drained and then replaced with a saline solution at a few degrees above zero. The dog's body temperature drops to 7C, compared with the normal 37C, which induces a state of hypothermia before death.
The animals are clinically dead. They have stopped breathing; have no heartbeat and brain activity. However, during this time their tissue and organs remain perfectly preserved. Any damage to blood vessels or tissue can be repaired later via surgery.
Three hours into the process the scientists replaced the dog's blood, gave them 100% oxygen and applied electric shock to restart their hearts. The dead dogs returned to life and tests showed that they were perfectly normal with no signs to brain damage.
The scientists have plans to reanimate a human subject within a year. This technique could be used in the battlefield to temporarily suspend wounded soldiers until surgeons would be able to repair the damage. One US battlefield doctor was quoted, "The results are stunning. I think in 10 years we will be able to prevent death in a certain segment of those using this technology."

OSLO, Norway (AP) -- A Web camera in a Norwegian artist's living room in California allowed her sons in Norway and the Philippines to see that she had collapsed and call for help, one of the sons said Friday.
Karin Jordal, 69, collapsed Thursday in her living room in Pinon Hills, California, and was motionless on a couch when her son Tore in the Philippines checked in through the Internet.
"He tried to call her, and got no answer," Tore's brother, Ole Jordal, said by telephone from the western Norway city of Bergen. "He had also tried to call the police and ambulances (in California) but couldn't get through."
Ole Jordal said his brother then called him in Norway, as he and his wife, Tammy, originally from Long Island, New York, were having breakfast.
"My wife is American and she knew exactly whom to call for help," he said. "It took five or 10 minutes for the ambulance personnel to arrive."
He said the family was on the verge of tears when they watched on the Web camera as ambulance personnel assisted their diabetic mother, who is recovering in the Desert Valley Hospital in California.
"I thank that camera and my sons for my life," Karin Jordal told the Norwegian newspaper Bergens Tidende by telephone from her hospital bed. She has lived in the U.S. and Spain on and off for the past 15 years.
Ole Jordal said low blood sugar caused his mother's collapse, and that she would be allowed to go home after a few days in the hospital. He said the family set up Web cameras in their homes because of the high cost of staying in touch by telephone when they live so far apart.
"But now I see the Internet as a way to save lives. It's also a wonderful tool for people who live alone in some remote area, and might need help," he said.
The mother had been unconscious for about two hours before her sons checked in, so there was also an element of luck, since they only use the camera a few times a week.

1. Read your mail.
Carry an envelope or two in a store with you. When you have to wait in line, take it out to read.
2. Check your weekly appointment schedule.
A daily calendar and/or scheduler is a great companion in a line, waiting room, etc. Use the time to keep it current.
3. Write a note, or dictate a memo into a portable cassette recorder.
No time to write? Why not dictate a note for your assistant to write out and send later on? Even a few minutes in a line will provide the time needed to make an outline for a letter to compose later in the day.
4. See who is within a few feet of you to chat with ...
It's amazing how effective networking can be when we're willing to smile and strike up a conversation with others waiting near to us. "It sure is a hot/cold day" can turn into a tremendous friendship and/or business adventure if we dare to share!
5. Outline your thoughts on paper.

6. Make a quick phone call.

After the untimely passing of Eddie Guerrero, WWE and the entire sports-entertainment community is still reeling from the devastating loss of a champion. The initial autopsy reports on Guerrero have come in. WWE.com spoke with Eddie’s widow, Vickie Guerrero, earlier today.
“It was heart failure. It was from his past – the drinking and the drug abuse. They found signs of heart disease. She (the examiner) said that the blood vessels were very worn and narrow, and that just showed all the abuse from the scheduling of work and his past. And Eddie just worked out like crazy all the time. It made his heart grow bigger and work harder and the vessels were getting smaller, and that’s what caused the heart failure. He went into a deep sleep.
As soon as they saw his heart, they saw the lining of his heart already had the heart disease. There was no trauma, and Eddie hadn’t hurt himself in any way. It answered a lot of questions. I knew Eddie wasn’t feeling very good for the last week. He was home and kept saying he wasn’t feeling good and we thought it was just “road tired.” So we thought he just had to rest. It answered a lot of my questions, too, because he was just so exhausted. She said it was normal because the heart was working so hard.
When he didn’t call me last night and the night before I knew it was for real, because he would call me every night. I miss his phone calls. I cried through the whole thing (last night).
I loved his laugh. His laugh was the best.
We just celebrated his four-year sobriety last Thursday. We just thought we had life by the handful. We thought we had it all figured out. He worked so hard to make a better life for us.
I’m just overwhelmed by how people are coming out. It’s touched my heart a lot.
Everybody was just in awe last night in how beautifully everything was put together.
All my life was wrestling. All he did was take care of them and live for that. And I don’t know what to do now.”

It is sad that such a great personality of the community died just like that... though always potrayed in the WWE ring as someone who is very cunning and scheming, according to Eddie's friends, he is a very kind and humble person who just loved to perform for the fans and always gave his heart, blood, sweat and tears in the ring just to entertain them. He was also somone who believed a lot in Jesus Christ and always prayed hard for his friends and family wishing them well. According to a few more friends in the WWE, he is also a very colourful person, who cfan make you happy 1 moment, sad the next or make you livid the next. Such a great loss to our world is Eddie. We will miss you Eddie, the great times you brought us will never be forgotten......
